HALFORDS GROUP PLC: PURCHASE OF OWN SHARES

Halfords Group PLC announces that on 07 June 2011 it purchased for cancellation 200,000 of its ordinary shares at a price of 402.6862p per ordinary share.

Following the above purchase, the Company has now bought back 5,631,296 shares for cancellation, since 7 April 2011 when the buy back programme commenced.
