Correction
An announcement issued earlier today incorrectly stated that Mr David Wild's shareholding in Halfords Group plc's shares, following his recent purchase, was 40,000 shares. The actual figure should have been stated at 80,000 shares. (40,000 shares having been purchased in November 2008). A revised annoucement is included below.
