RNS Number:4893R Halfords Group PLC 02 April 2008 Halfords Group plc Close period repurchase programme Halfords Group plc (the "Company") announces that the Company has entered into an irrevocable and non-discretionary arrangement with its broker, Citigroup Global Markets U.K. Equity Limited, to repurchase on its behalf and within certain pre-set parameters, ordinary shares in the Company for cancellation during the Company's close period commencing on 3 April 2008 and ending on the day prior to the announcement of the Company's results for the 52 weeks ended 28 March 2008. This arrangement is in accordance with Chapter 15 of the Listing Rules and the Company's general authority to repurchase shares.
