RNS Number:3730S Halfords Group PLC 05 March 2007 HALFORDS GROUP PLC: PURCHASE OF OWN SHARES Halfords Group PLC ("the Company") announces that on 5 March 2007 it purchased for cancellation 125,000 of its ordinary shares at a price of 358.0p per ordinary share. Following the above purchase, the Company have now bought back 8,458,956 shares for cancellation, since the 8 June when the buy back programme commenced. In addition the following amendment has been made to the Transaction in Own Shares announcement released on 2 March 2007 under RNS No 2793S.
